As final design preparations are approved, and as the site at Wing Farm is being prepared for the new comprehensive Morse High and Bath Regional Career and Technical Center, the Fundraising Campaign Team announces the opportunity to participate in two additional levels of giving:

  • Montgomery Theater Patrons - "Name a Seat" in the new Montgomery Theater, which continues this Morse tradition of honoring, memorializing or giving to the enhanced theater for a tax deductible contribution of $500, also complete with a Certificate of Appreciation, as well as a name plaque.  There are a limited number of seats available, so please don't delay (and we will be taking the names on the old seats with us); and

  • Bricklayers - "Buy a Brick" for the new building in honor of, in memory of, or as a personal or business contribution for only $150 (tax deductible) which comes with a Certificate of Appreciation.

Please indicate whose name should be included on the donation certificate.

All donations can be made to the RSU 1 Education Foundation: RSU 1 Education Foundation c/o Dr. Patrick Manuel 34 Wing Farm Parkway Bath ME 04530

The RSU1 Education Foundation began by assisting students who wanted to attend after-school activities or programs that carried an extra cost. The concept and program quickly expanded and an educational 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was formed to allow tax-deductible donations. The Foundation has received education grants from national and international companies, as well as from education foundations. It also serves as the fiscal sponsor of the building project.

The Foundation is an all-volunteer organization, and all its proceeds go to support the programs and the projects under its care.  We are all very excited about the community response to the new Morse High School and appreciate your support.  All gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. For more information about the Foundation, contact Bill Racine, CPA, Treasurer at wracine@gwi.net.
